TARC EFT for Breath, Grief & Emotional Release

Letting Go with Love

In TARC EFT, we recognise that emotional energy often becomes stored in the chest, shoulders, and lungs. These are spaces where grief hides, where the breath gets shallow, and where life feels too heavy to hold. This simple TARC EFT tapping sequence helps clear emotional stagnation, reconnect you to your breath, and activate your natural flow of energy and resilience.


WHEN TO USE THIS

  • When you feel emotionally stuck or heavy

  • During times of grief, change, or loss

  • If your breathing feels restricted

  • When you’re holding back tears or emotion

  • To release overwhelm and reconnect to inspiration


TARC EFT Tapping Sequence: The Breath-Body Reset

  1. Sit or stand comfortably. Gently bring awareness to your chest and notice how you’re breathing.

  2. **Start tapping gently on the outside of  the side of your thumb . This is your Lung Letting Go Point.

  3. Speak these phrases aloud or adjust them to suit your emotions:

    *”Even though I feel this tightness / sadness / weight in my chest, I accept how I feel.”

    “Even though I’m holding on so tightly, I’m open to softening.”

    “It’s safe to breathe. It’s safe to let go.”

    “I allow this breath to move me.”

    “I give myself permission to release this heaviness.”*

  4. Continue tapping through your regular TARC EFT points (eyebrow, side of eye, under eye, , chest, under arm, hands). Return to thehthumb point to close.

  5. End with a deep breath in… and sigh it out with a gentle yawn if one arrives.


Add Gentle Movement:

  • Lightly massage the thumb point in circular motions to stimulate fascia and lymphatic flow.

  • Stretch arms wide and roll shoulders slowly to loosen emotional and physical tension.


Affirmations to Anchor:

  • “I let go with love.”

  • “I breathe in new energy.”

  • “I’m safe to feel.”

  • “It’s okay to release.”


Remember: Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting — it means softening the grip of what no longer serves you, so your breath, body, and spirit can move forward in harmony.

You are not alone. You are not broken. You are in the process of beautiful release.
